Last year we decided to host an exchange student.  This surprised many of our friends and family because our youngest daughter had just graduated high school and was heading off for her first year of college.  Our oldest daughter still lived at home, but we rarely see her with her part-time college attendance, almost full-time hours at a local credit union, and then, there is time with her boyfriend. For all practicable purposes, we are, or were, empty nesters.  The questions is:  are we crazy? or are we in denial of our near empty nest status? or are we looking for an adventure?
